Emulator 'Lapdog' P-90 Pickup
Inspired by a combination of rare pickup designs from the late 1940s, the Emulator ‘Lapdog’ brings together vintage lap steel character and that early "dog ear" P-90 growl. It's magnet slug pole pieces and vintage output deliver a sweet, bell-like voice with the clarity of early amplified guitar tones.
The Lapdog is intentionally not wax potted, keeping it's construction in step with it's vintage-inspired roots. It offers this distinctive voice in either mounting style.
A matched Lapdog neck-and-bridge pair offers hum-cancelling operation when both pickups are selected together.
